ADT LOGO
Through creativity, collaboration, and performance, Adaptations Dance Theater seeks to inspire and develop a culturally-dynamic and continually growing dance community on Maui, Hawai'i.
THE BRIEF
In honor of its 10th anniversary, Adaptations Dance Theater sought a new logo that embraced what it had become known as to its community: “ADT”. Using descriptors like “power” and “dynamic”, they desired something bold with an aspect of motion.
THE SOLUTION
We landed on a wordmark that represents a solid, established presence with simultaneous inner motion forward. The wordmark is strong enough to stand alone, but also pairs well with subheadings such as the organization’s full name or tagline. The treatment of the text is simple enough to be easily applied to other characters if desired to produce additional brand materials. A brand color palette was identified to mimic the playful, energetic tone of the organization.
